Hi, I'm David.

I'm a wine writer, educator and explorer with a particular fascination for the stories behind the bottle.

I've travelled extensively through Europe and beyond, studied wine through WSET and specialist qualifications, explored vineyards across the globe and spent a rather unhealthy amount of time tasting wines in obscure places most people don't know exist.

I have a particular interest in Hungarian wine, English wine and Sparkling wine.

ALotToWineAbout is where I share what I've discovered — the wines, people, places and grapes that I think deserve more attention.

My passion is helping people feel more confident in wine. Whether you are just starting out or are a Master of Wine, my aim is to make wine accessible. And to share the joy of discovering and of course drinking amazing wine!
